How the Hebrew and Greek are matchedEach Greek Old Testament word is lined up with the Hebrew word it translates by comparing the two texts verse by verse, and the rare words were checked by hand. When a card says “most likely,” the match is probable but not certain. The Greek Old Testament here is Swete’s edition, which prints Codex Vaticanus, so a few words differ from sites that print other manuscripts.
